A short checklist for opening Nook and using meeting audio and video when they are available.
Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. If an invitation opens inside another app’s browser, open the link in your regular browser when permissions or sign-in do not work.
Meeting access needs a working internet connection. When live media is enabled, audio and video also depend on the network allowing real-time traffic. Try another trusted network if a firewall blocks the connection.
Live microphone and camera access requires a secure HTTPS page and your browser’s permission. Check both browser and operating-system permissions. Nook does not need those permissions just to read these pages.
Use headphones to reduce echo when audio is available. A camera is optional unless your organizer asks for it. Close other apps using the same microphone or camera if the device cannot start.
Allow the site’s essential cookies and browser storage so your session and preferences can work. Keep invitation links private and use the account they were intended for when a meeting restricts access.
The site operator controls whether browser calls and desktop downloads are available. A pause notice reflects the service configuration. Only download a file when an actual installer is offered for your operating system.
